These offerings are laid

The bewildered herd is bonded

The thirst tormenting the seekers of [bad word] 

The rabid pack will bay for blood 
In the frenzy of the kill 
Propitiations of smoldering flesh 
Fail to coerce the earth be still 

Fearsome tales of torture 
March unchallenged throught the night 
Anguished screams fade to whisper 
In the coldness of the light 

Hasten the day when the darkness is expelled 
See the blood of the righteous spilled 
Free the yoke from this brave new world
