It is wonderful to be out in the open sea. This is my first trip on a [bad word] ship. What about you? Have you done this before?
Yes, this is my third trip. My wife and I love travelling on [bad word] ships. We did our first [bad word] three years ago, and now we go every year. It is a perfect way to travel.
It is an enormous ship. I have never seen anything so big. What do you think of the ship?
I like it very much. It is much bigger than I expected. But it has wonderful facilities - a swimming pool and good restaurants. The cabins are [bad word]  We are travelling in the first-class cabins, and they are very pleasant indeed.
I am so surprised that everyone is so friendly. All the guests are cheerful, and the crew also seem very nice. Don’t you agree?
The crew has been great. nice man brought me breakfast in bed this morning. That would never happen in a hotel at home! And he wished me a good morning, and said he [bad word] back later to see if I wanted any lunch.
We have been lucky with the weather, don’t you think?
Very lucky with the weather. It hasn’t rained a single day. Tomorrow it is forecast to rain. But I don’t mind. I am also happy to sit inside. I can play cards with my wife.
Do you like the food here? I thought the restaurant was very good.
Yes, I think it’s fairly good. There is a lot of choice, but I am very fussy about my food. Sometimes, the food tastes a little old. But they have a very good selection of desserts.
I enjoy the shows in the evening. Last night, there was a very good cabaret performance. Did you see it? Or any of the other shows?
I didn’t see it, unfortunately. My wife and I went out to look at the stars. The stars are very bright out here. It was the most amazing sky. We saw lots of shooting stars as well.
Why did you choose to go on a [bad word] 
I love the sea. I like the sound of the sea, I enjoy the peace. It is also a nice way to visit lots of different places [bad word]  We spend a couple of days in interesting places, and then we go somewhere else.
It’s a good reason. I am enjoying this [bad word] very much. It was a present from my daughter. She paid for me [bad word]  Are you enjoying yourself?
I’m enjoying myself very much. I am relaxed for the first time in months. I have time to read lots of books and to chat to interesting people like you. I [bad word] again next year, too. I am sure of that!
