For those of you who have been following my music career over the last few years, you may have noticed that my 'focus' has taken a decidedly more ministry-oriented turn. I would like to give some explanation as to why this is happening.

First, let me say that I have always considered my musical ability to be a gift from God. As such, I feel the best thing I can do with that gift is to use it for the benefit of God's kingdom. The music [bad word] has always been a reflection of my spiritual walk in one way or another. This, in itself, is nothing new.

What is new, however, is that I have [bad word] increasingly aware of the Lord leading me more in the direction of ministry in general. Not just in music ministry, but in Bible teaching and counseling. I used to think my 'music career' was the 'place' where God was taking me, as if a successful career in music was somehow my final destination here on earth. I [bad word] to realize, however, that the 'career' aspect of my life is nothing more than one stop on a much longer road, a road that is taking me to places I never expected to go...
