"Singularity" by Northlane (исполнитель: Mathew DeCesare)

Wrote this in dedication to those living with cancer and to those with loved ones living with cancer.

For those of you, living in waiting rooms,
Playing the waiting game.
There's only so much,
That I could ever say.
We find ourselves staring back at the world,
Trapped in thoughtful gaze.
Retracing each footstep, every memory,
Trying to get back the days.

Pushing down the lump in my throat,
I smooth her hair to the side,
and ask with tears in my eyes,
"Baby, does it hurt?"

And as I try not to cry,
She gently whispers with a smile,
"You'll always have my heart"

The skyline [bad word] and I'm alive from within,
Feel the light on my face, the bones in her skin.
The smell of her hair and every kiss on the cheek.
I know that somewhere out there, you're watching over me.

The skyline [bad word] and I'm alive from within,
Feel the light on my face, the bones in her skin.
The smell of her hair, one final kiss on the cheek.
Now when I look up at the sky, I feel her, singularity.
