A: — Oh... it's you.
J: — Yeah... I'm James

A: — Angela...
J: — Angela... okay. I don't know what you're planning... But there's always another way.

A: — Really? But... You're the same as me. It's easier just [bad word]  Besides, it's what we deserve.
J: — No... I'm not like you.

A: — Are you afraid! I, I'm sorry.
J: — It's okay... Did you find your mother?

A: — Not yet... She's not anywhere.
J: — Did she live in this apartment building?

A: — I don't know...
J: — So all you know is she lived in this town?

A: — What did you say? How do you know that?
J: — Well... I just figured, cause this is where you're looking for her. How else would I know?

A: — Yeah...
J: — I right?

A: — I'm so tired...
J: — So why did [bad word] to this town anyway?

A: — ...I, I'm sorry. Did you find... the person you're looking for?
J: — Not yet. (He pulls a picture of Mary out of his jacket and stoops down to show it to Angela)
Her name's Mary. She's my wife...

(Angela looks at the picture and shakes her head indicating that she does not recognize Mary)

A: — I'm sorry.
J: — It's okay. Anyway, I don't know why I think she's here. She is dead.

A: — ...She's dead'
J: — Don't worry, I'm not crazy. Least, I don't think so...

A: — I've gotta find my mama...(She stands up and begins walking towards the door)
J: — Should I go with you? This town's dangerous. Now I know what you meant back there in the cemetery.

A: — I'll be okay by myself. Besides, I'd just slow you down.
J: — What about that.. (He points to the butcher knife Angela is still holding)

A: — Will you hold it for me?
J: — Sure. No problem.

A: — If I kept it.... I'm not sure what I might do...
