Were the words that my dear mother called as I crawled out of bed,

I don’t know what happened last night, but there’s puke on the floor and a gash in my head,

But today is gonna be a good day.

I went into work, but they said I don’t work there no more,

Had my desk in a box, guards escorted me to the door,

And as I walked away, I lit my last cigarette, it’s off to the old liquor store,
