But there was my bro who once said to me
“you’re gonna make it man”
He laughed and took me in his band

It was somewhere in 1970’s
I did another awful thing
It was with the money I stole from my dad
That I bought my first guitar
Now it seems I really went to far

 What it’s all about now

 Keep bringing down the house

It now has been a real long way
I have kept rocking and nobody now
Is saying that I’m doing a wrong thing
