"Faraway, So Close!" ("Так далеко, так близко!") - англоязычный вариант названия фильма Вима Вендерса "Weiter Ferne, so Nah!" (в нашем прокате - "Небо над Берлином-2"), который является продолжением ленты "Wings of Desire" ("Der Himmel über Berlin"), "Небо над Берлином или Крылья желания" того же режиссера. Песня была написана специально для второго фильма, хотя рассказывается в ней история первой картины - в небе над Берлином живут ангелы, невидимые людям. Они летают над городом (тогда еще) разделенным стеной, заглядывают в дома, мысли и души его обитателей. Один из этих ангелов влюбляется в земную девушку и ради нее становится простым смертным.
