Αξιον εστίν ως αληθώς 
μακαρίζειν σε την Θεοτόκον, 
την αειμακάριστον και παναμώμητον 
και μητέρα του Θεού ημών.
Την τιμιωτέραν των Χερουβείμ και
ενδοξοτέραν ασυγκρίτως των Σεραφείμ
την αδιαφθόρως Θεόν Λόγον τεκούσαν,
την όντως Θεοτόκον, Σε μεγαλύνομεν

Transliteration:
Axion estIN os aliTHOS
MakaRIzien se tin TheoTOkon
tin ayimaKAriston kai panaMOmiton
kai miTEra tou theOU imON
Tin timioTEran ton [bad word] kai endoksoTEran asinGRItos ton seraFIM
tin adifthORos, theON logON tekOUsan 
tin ONtos theoTOkon, se megaLInomen.

Translation: [bad word] you are worthy
to be blessed Theotokos (God-birther)!
You the holy-blessed  and Ever blameless One,
And Mother of our God!
More honourable than the [bad word] 
And more glorious than the Seraphim!
Without stain, you gave birth to the Logos (Word)!
The [bad word] Theotokos (God-birther), we magnify you!
