as night is walking on the streets
of our town
streets are getting calm
night is calming them down
when it's getting dark
and it's a quater to ten
it's time to drink a mug of beer
and meet your friends
then we walk through
the night town streets
some guys are hanging 'round
and some are playing beats
music in our ears
soft gentle sounds
sea of night town lights
is floating around
shadows dancing on the roofs
hear the drankerd's song
no one here who wants to sleep
and so we go on
walking down the stree?
we enter the park
there are couples kissing there
somewhere in the dark
moon is talking softly
with stars in the sky
wind is whispering something
as he's flying by

night is slowly passing by
and it's mornind soon
but in the evening we will meet
to gaze again at the moon
