So High

Something pulls me calling softly, gently to the light
Which is all I wish to gather 
It’s so easy to fly smoothly, calmly at this height
As if I’d been here forever

Here I’m free again
To leave and cross the sorrow
Will I be the same,
The one I used to know?

Being so high…
I left so far behind
The point of no return 
What if my past is burnt?
Will I be left alone?
My thoughts are far away 
Like snowflakes they can sway
I know it is so right,
For it occurs just at night…

Wind is carrying me so warmly, kindly to the sun
I am sure: I will revive
I feel brave and happy to fly forward like no one 
For the first time in my life
