One morning when Herman gets up
He grabs for his huge coffeecup
And he pours a red coffee blend
So rich, so full of affluence
Somewhere in Africa
There’s a farm and a working man
He’s afraid ’cause it’s time to pay
And his son needs medicine and food today
How long will it take ’till you see
That you’re drinking my stressed coffee?
There is one thing I know for sure
It is not the farmer’s anymore
Next door to the needing man
There lives Max and his helping hand
And he sees what the farmer goes through
And he knows that Herman should have less too
When times gets hard to feel
The elephant gets them better deals
And we must pay a little more
To help the ones outside the door
