This is an unusual set, the only full-length program of [bad word] guitar solos recorded by Barney Kessel. Although Kessel was not as skilled in solo work as Joe Pass, the music is relaxed, melodic and tasteful. The interpretations are concise and highlighted by "Brazil," "You Are the Sunshine of My Life," and "Alfie," although "People" could have been skipped. ~ Scott Yanow
