Stared at the big tree, 
Saw someone that wasn’t free.

Now the rope [bad word] down,
Guess the man was up to no good.

Body’s spinning all around,
No more will his feet touch the ground.

Dressed up in a hood,
Never did what he should.

Everyone knows he’s afraid,
Rope keeps chaffing against the platform,
Now it’s frayed.

Body’s lying down,
Feet now touch the ground.

There’s a verdict all around,
Lying on the ground's not what the jury found.

They say he was no good,
I can hear him through the hood.

I wonder if he would change things if he could.
Some say he never would

The people on the ground,
Move closer to stand around.

They asked amongst themselves if they could,
Continue on with what they would?

When they asked about the rope,
They found it was made of dope.
