بذكر سليمة والكمان ونغمي // bithikri sulaimah walkamani wanaghimi

upon mentioning “Sulaima” with the violin and tunes

أيا داعيا بذكر العامرية أنني // aya da3iyan bithikri al3amiriyati annani

oh you who speaks of her, i.. 

أغار عليها من فم المتكلم // [bad word] 3alaima min fami al mutakallimi

I feel jealous from the mouths of those who speak of her 

أغار عليها من ثيابها // [bad word] 3alaiha min thiyabiha

I feel jelous from her own clothes 

إذا لبستها فوق جسم منعم // itha labisat'ha fawqa jismi mun3ami
