Technically, this is not Chet's last concert, but this is the last known recording of Chet. The inclusion of many of his standards (My Funny Valentine, I Fall In Love Too Easily, Well You Needn't, etc) make a nice coda to Chet's career. The strings are sometimes a little overpowering, and in spots Chet sounds a little tired. He pulls through, and makes some beautiful music along the way. Chet seems to be having fun, particularly in the big-band pieces like Look for the Silver Lining.
