I remember our Half Dome hike.
An easy thing, wasn't it?
You've got two ropes for you to take
Supposed to climb in between.

No, I was too cool, I went on the outside.
I didn't care if my shoes slide.

Bridge1:
Someone dropped a bottle and I watched it roll down the slope
Just like that man two weeks before.

Bridge2:
I made it to the top, I watched my arms shake, I watched my legs shake.
And that's when I said: "STOP! It's my life I'd put at stake!"

II.
I remember Grand Canyon.
Not supposed to go alone!
Dry hot weather on the menu.
Don't you choose that hike too long!

Down & up alone the same day, just imagine! Hero! Hey!

Swollen ankle, sore and shaky, but alive and back!

Bridge2:
What did I learn from that mistake, what do you think?
