Every evening as the lamp fades out and the real night arrives the sandman raises up and silently knocks on the door.
 It has sleepy slippers and with them it trips along, it tiptoes in through the door and jumps behind the closet.
 And it has a sleepy bonnet and a blue sleepy belt and it eats a sleepy peace of ice-cream with its small teeth. And it has a blue car and the car hums like this: [bad word] and starts off towards the blue land of dream.
 And a small umbrella i totally tilted and under its arm it carries the blue book of dreams. And in to the blue land of dreams it takes the kids with its car [bad word] and to there, there is a blue sleepy road
And in there is a golden forest and in the forest a golden tree and the blue bird of the dreams with a golden mouth.
 And the blue bird of dreams, it cradles the children, it sings a sleepy song lalalaalalalallallaa.
