Песню записали Max Romeo и Hippy Boys, в то время работавшие с Lee Perry и позже назвавшие себя Upsetters. Мелодию для неё сочинил Derrick Morgan, взяв за основу ритм своей же песни "Hold You Jack", но сам он не нашёл времени для записи, и Lee Perry сказал, что исполнять её должен Max, так как больше уже никто не соглашался, а Coxsone Dodd чуть было не выгнал их, когда кто-то прочитал ему слова. Песня всё же была записана, Bunny Lee и Pama Records издали её в Англии, и она расходилась хорошо, несмотря на все запреты. Но после этого Max Romeo не исполнял ничего подобного - его мировоззрению больше соответствовало раста-регги.
