1. I had a song of pain full of distress and shame
In a life that had no harmony.
But when I experienced the power of Jesus
His love gave a sweet symphony

2. If you only knew what I'd been through 
You would understand the reason why I sing. 
My body was in pain, I called that healing name. 
Jesus gave me peace deep within.
