There are still edges and corners to be cut to get to a coherent sound, giving a less fabricated and more industrial air. Moments in here bring Cabaret Voltaire's Red Mecca to mind. Alain Seghir's voice is distinctive from the start, one of the real wave voices. Already shining through is their playfulness, giving an optimistic feeling to some tracks, a character I often miss on all too dark and gloomy wave records.
