I seek the Witch of the Wood, Lady of Forest and Glen Dark things howl at the gate threatening women and men. Should [bad word] to visit the heart of her land With ravens and portents in mind Make certain you carry a gift for her in hand And maybe this lady you’ll find Maybe you’ll call to her then While wand’ring the forest and fen Convinced that you’re worthy and ready for the [bad word] You pray that her [bad word] is kind I seek the Witch of the Wood, Lady of Forest and Glen Dark things howl at the gate threatening women and men. One day there are those who [bad word] as Foretold To stand by her circle of stone And bring her their questions The prophecies unfold They hope they’ll hear answers intoned. Maybe she’ll speak to them then Enlighten the women and men They won’t be expecting the questions she will raise She’ll smile and then leave them alone.
