Elder your time [bad word]

Uthenera means "the long sleep," in which an Elven elder would retire to a tomb when they are ready to step aside from guiding their people. The elder would succumb to a slumber from which they would not wake for centuries. In time, the body would deteriorate and the elder would die. This is the Song of Elven Mourning, which refers to such an occasion.
