The version of GIVE UP used on the album was actually the demo version I had done to send/show to my friend Andrew Scheps. I then began work on other versions....this is one of the versions...it is not [bad word]  but it is interesting to see where the song was going and how by trying to be more interesting I was hurting the song. I am happy with the decision we made to go with the DEMO version :) Enjoy...
