Clint Euronymous of The Mayhems was murdered in August, 1963 by Varg 'Kenneth' Vikernes (of The Burzums). The police investigation eventually led to the incarceration of The Emperors members Rocky Samoth for arson, and Walter Faust for the murder of Magne Andreassen.

The popular [bad word] LP 'De Mysteriis Dom Surfanas' release was delayed until 1964.
