I heard they teach a good thing

Kicking my pride with those ratings
making me sit lost for words

I felt all flushed with fever
Embarrassed by my mark,
I felt they found mistakes and read each one out loud,
I pray that they would finish
But they just kept right on

They spoke as if they knew me
