Don’t try to skip the line, just to get closer to your man. You’ve got to walk barefoot on the coals all your life, just to see the end. There’s a man in the tower, with a rifle in his hand. There’s a dog at the gate, foaming at the mouth, with a master to defend. So hurt yourself in his name, like nothing you have felt before. And once you’ve tasted his pain, like a [bad word]  you’ll [bad word] back for more. Many times you’ve been on your knees, begging forgiveness for your sins. But if you don’t put to death the deeds of the body, you will never [bad word] live. Can you see the light? It shines on everyone. I’ll keep climbing, because a pilgrims work is never done. High on heaven. Nothing but sand for miles, silence is deafening. Still you can’t help but smile - you know you like it. benediction that you just can’t resist. You need the feeling, the crack of the whip. Inside you’re just like me - you need the agony. Can you see the light? It shines on everyone. I’ll keep climbing, because a pilgrims work is never done. So dig the ecstasy, love every thorn, let it bleed. Huff holy fumes, till you can hardly see. And every saint that you think you meet, will carry you homeward bound safely.
