2.Though Satan should buffet, though trials [bad word]  ни вражьи нападки, ни тяжесть скорбей 

let this blest assurance control, не склонят меня позабыть 

that Christ has regarded my helpless estate, что Бог мой меня из пучины страстей 

and hath shed his own blood for my soul. в любви восхотел искупить! 

3.My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought! что в мире сравниться с усладой такой? 

My sin, not in part but the whole, мой грех весь, как есть целиком 

is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more, к кресту пригвожден, и я кровью святой 

praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul! искуплен всесильным Христом! 

4.And, Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight, 

the clouds be rolled back as a scroll; 

the [bad word] shall resound, and the Lord shall descend, 

even so, it is well with my soul.
