عطريق العين غادي غاد شفت الزين

يطول عمرك يا غنام ردّت روحي ليّ
Oh herdman may Allah extend you life, my life is brought to me again
قلي بالله بأيّ عــــــين شفته بأيّ ميّ
please tell me on which fountain had you seen him
كان قلبي من قبل وصوله مشوي بناره شيّ
before you arrive, my heart were frying with his love fire
لا عم باكل و لا عم بشرب بقالي يومين
i haven't eaten nor drinken since two days

الله يصبر قلب العاشق يا أخت العربان
oh sister of Arabs, may Allah give lover's heart patience
و يجمعك بحبيب قلبك بجاه الرحمـــــن
and gather you with your heart love for The Mercifull (God/ Allah) sake
تحظي بيه و يحظى بيك و تعيشو بأمان
and you get each other (marry) and live safely
