I wake up every morning

Marmelade on toast for breakfast

Half past nine is quite the time
For coffee and a bun
Blueberry or chocolate muffin
Either one if fun

Pouring custard on my plums
Fills me with delight
There surely is no better way
To end the perfect night

Settling down at bedtime
Such a wonderful day
Perhaps a little glass of port
Will send me on my way
